Beat Procrastination Together
Join game rooms, track your tasks, and hold each other accountable with microdeadlines.
How Microdeadlines Works
A simple, effective way to boost productivity through social accountability and time-boxing.
Start a new game room or join an existing one with friends or colleagues. Each room has a unique ID for easy sharing.
Break down your work into small, manageable tasks. Each player creates their own task list to complete during the session.
The host starts the game, activating the countdown timer. Everyone works on their tasks, tracking time spent and marking completions.
When time's up, players rate each other's tasks with claps and stars. Tasks with enough points get verified, creating accountability.
Game Mechanics Explained
Game Timer
Each game has an overall timer (15-180 minutes) that counts down for the entire session.
Task Timers
Individual tasks have their own timers that track how long you spend on each task.
Distractions
Record distractions to track when you lose focus, helping identify patterns.
Claps
Award 1, 2, 5, 10, or 20 claps to tasks based on their quality and difficulty.
Gold Stars
Give one gold star (worth 50 points) to exceptional tasks that deserve special recognition.
Verification
Tasks with 10+ total points are considered "verified," creating social proof of completion.
